Job Purpose:

5th Street Capital, Inc. is seeking highly motivated Wholesale Mortgage Account Executives to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for soliciting new business from mortgage entities (Brokers) in assigned territory
  • Manage the sales cycle, and consistently meet and exceed sales goals
  • Obtains approval packages for new clients
  • Communicate and train clients on products, policies and procedures
  • Attend meetings of local and state trade associations as directed by management
  • Stay abreast of indices, market changes, and underwriting guideline changes in order to discuss the mortgage market in an informed manner
  • Understand the rate lock process and requirements, answering lock related questions from mortgage brokers
  • Partner with Account Managers to ensure there is excellent communication and problem resolution on all loans in their pipeline


  • Existing Broker relationships
  • 1-3 years experience as Account Executive inside or outside sales in Wholesale lending channel
  • Minimum of 3 years mortgage industry experience
  • Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of MS office products
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong sales acumen and demonstrated history of achieving monthly sales targets
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines
